Silverboot Tournament this Weekend!

Thursday, October 19th will be an early release. There is no school on Friday, October 20th. The Silverboot Volleyball tournaments begins at noon on Friday, come out and support your Angels!

Mario and Luigi day at school today.

It's a great day to be an Angel! Our boys cross country team placed 4th at state Cross Country! Keilan Wassillie took 7th place for the boys and Brooke Phelps took 13th for the girls. All our runners did great! Our girls volleyball team won the Dillingham Round Robin today! Bella Young and Kylah Estrada were named to the all tournament team! If you have photos from the events, please leave them in the comments! Our kids would not be able to enjoy this success without the tremendous support shown by all members of our community!

Starting Monday Oct 9th National School Lunch Week "Level Up"

This is a friendly reminder of our departure from school procedures. All students must depart the building by 3:35 p.m. (2:35 on Fridays). In the interest of student safety, the ways that students are released at the end of the day are as follows: Students who ride the bus will be put on the bus and dropped at their stop, unless other arrangements are made by the parent or guardian in writing or by phone to the front office. If you would like your student to walk home, please email kiraolsen@bbbsd.net indicating your child is to be released to walk home. Athletes who have practice at 4:00 p.m. may stay until practice. Please call the office with any questions.

Its that time of year again where we remind students and parents of our cold weather transportation policy: When the temperature is 32° F or colder, students shall carry with them on the bus or airplane the following items of clothing: ■ A pair of insulated pants ■ A winter coat with hood (or other cold weather head covering) ■ Appropriate footwear ■ A pair of mittens or gloves. When the temperature is 0° F or colder, students shall be wearing the above items upon boarding. The bus driver or pilot has the authority to deny bus or airplane transportation to a student if they are not dressed appropriately for cold weather.

Congratulations to our 2023 Boys Regional Cross Country Team Campions, the Bristol Bay Angels. Also congratulations to our boys individual regional champion Keilan Wassillie, and our girls regional runner up, Brooke Phelps. Our entire cross country team have qualified for State Cross Country Championships, this weekend in Palmer! Thank you to Coach Damian Hill for helping our kids improve week after week!

Effective Monday, due to staff availability and length of meal service, we will be unable to heat up items for students that are brought from home. This includes cup of noodles, popcorn, ramen, etc. If your student has dietary restrictions or allergies we are more than willing to help and accommodate, please reach out to us so that we can work together.
