December dates to remember.
Winter Bus Reminder. It is that time of year when we never know what type of weather we are going to have. For those students who ride the bus, our school policy is:
When the temperature is 32*F or less students will carry with them: a pair of insulated pants, a winter coat with hood or a hat, appropriate footwear, and a pair of mittens or gloves.
When the temperature is 0*F or less students must be wearing the above items.
Students can be denied school transportation if they do not have the appropriate winter gear. This policy is in place so we can make sure our students are safe and warm. Students who need to ride the bus home will be denied transportation if they do not have the appropriate weather gear. Families will be responsible for picking up their student if they cannot ride the bus home. We appreciate our families support in keeping our students safe.
The school board meeting for tonight has been postponed to Next Tuesday, November 26 at 7:30 pm.
Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation's dental team is working out of the school this week. If you would like to make an appointment for your student(s), please call 907-843-1390. You can also leave a message at this number. The following form will need to be completed. This form is also available in the school office.

Tonight: Senior and Community Photos
Place: Auditorium
Time: 6:00-7:30PM
Cap-and-gown pictures are for seniors who would like to purchase cap and gown photos. The cap and gown will be provided.
Family photos for anyone who would like to capture their family.
No appointments are needed for either photo type and are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tomorrow: School Photos
Place: Auditorium
Time: Starting with Pre-school at 9 am.
All photography is on a Proof Program, meaning Parents/Students don’t need to pay at the time of photography. They will receive a Proof (Preview) later on then they can purchase the pictures they like.

Notice of School Board Meeting for Tuesday November 12th at 7:30p.m., rescheduled for Tuesday November 19th at 7:30 p.m.
Reports of Illness: The school has been informed of several illnesses such as RSV, Pink Eye, Whooping Cough, Chest cold, and Hand Foot and Mouth. If your child is displaying any symptoms of a serious illness, we kindly ask that you keep your child home. The school is and will continue to be doing extra disinfecting. We hope everyone stays well.

Students have an Early Release this Wednesday, Thursday & Friday! Parent Teacher Conferences are Wednesday from 530-730 pm and Thursday from 230-430 pm.
Thank you to the National Fishing Wildlife Service for teaching the preschool and kindergarteners about migration and bird banding. They had a lot of fun pretending to be birds and making their own bands. A learning experience they won't forget.
The new school bus has arrived and will be operating on Monday 10/21. The school will be contacting all families to finalize the route. The $10 "in lieu" will end on Thursday.
EARLY RELEASE Thursday 10/17 @ 2:30 pm. NO SCHOOL (for students) Friday 10/18.
