The school district is always interested in hearing from our students, parents, and community members and that input helps guide us in our planning for programs, facilities, and student academic and extra curricular activities. Each year committees help determine some very important decisions and commitments for the district. Committees helped in these areas:
- Student Handbook Update
- Strategic Planning for the district
- District Technology Plan and laptop program
- Carl Perkins Grant Review and Development
- Indian Education Parent Advisory Committee
and so many other areas!
In each new school year we will be asking for your help again. Among the areas we will need input and support:
- Developing and maintain a Booster Club to support student activities and athletics
- Creating an evening gym and supervision schedule for students in grades k-12
- Created a library remodel committee that will help guide the planning for our new library expansion that will occur in the summer of 2009. We will be asking for similar help with our voc ed wing in 2012 and 2013
- Having your input on the curriculum reviews that we will conduct this year
- Creating a committee to review the staff evaluation procedures and make recommendations to update that plan
Watch this page for other developments throughout the year.
