• The District is happy to announce the hire of Ms. Mary Fundeen and Ms. Diane Seitz to fill our final two elementary positions.  Ms. Fundeen is a graduate of Bristol Bay and someone who just completed her student teaching experience in our school.  Ms. Seitz has many years of teaching experience, most recently in Chevak, Alaska.  We are very excited that both women chose Bristol Bay as their next step.

    Please help all of us welcome our new teachers! We know the new year will be very exciting for all.

The Standard Based Assessment (SBA) and High School Graduation Qualifying Exam (HSGQE and HSGQE Retest) will be administered on April 6,7, 8 & 9.  These tests are extremely important; participation is required by the State of Alaska.

Testing will follow this schedule: Grades 3 - 12
•    Reading................... Tuesday, April 6.............. 9 AM – until finished.
•    Writing............... Wednesday, April 7.............. 9 AM – until finished.
•    Math....................... Thursday, April 8.............. 9 AM – until finished.

Science testing will be administered only to grades 4, 8 and 10 on the following date:
•    Science..................Friday, April 9.............. 9 AM – until finished.
