In January our community nominated 5 teachers for the Teacher of the Year Program. The five teachers; Mr. Brewer, Ms. Doster, Ms. Feriante, Mr. Starr, and Mr. Townsend each were recognized for the differences they have made in our school and their willingness to help all students and families in our school community. Last week a selection committee reviewed the nominations and determined that Mr. Townsend will be our 2011 Teacher of the Year. Congratulations to Mr. T, and the four outstanding teachers who were also nominated.
Mr. Townsend's name will now be submitted for consideration in the State and National Teacher of the Year programs. Congratulations and Good Luck to Mr. Townsend from everyone!
